Sovereignty
Seeking shelter from a blizzard, you find yourself in a remote manor mere hours after a murder was committed there. Someone must be punished for the crime, and the decision is forced upon you.
Sovereignty is a short (<30 min) point-and-click visual novel in which you are tasked with exploring the residence of three people, and piecing together the story behind the killing of one of them.
The game is available to be played in browser for your convenience, and can also be downloaded in executable form.
Made over a few weeks in December 2022 as part of the Winter Visual Novel Jam 2022.

Landlords...
This was really good! I'm certain of my choice even though I don't love having to make it because I asked myself who did I feel deserved to get out of this the most.
Spoiler
It's the one who figured out what's going on and doing her best to escape. I feel she needs the win.
I really enjoyed this, especially the camera and end clue mechanic! Truly unfortunate that landlords can last beyond the grave.
I'm so happy to hear you liked it and that the mechanics and narrative clicked for you!
